Garlas Alpinia[edit]
Garlas Alpinia is a type of flowering plant found growing within flooded underground caves in the depths of Garlas Malatar.
Gas Blossom[edit]
Gas Blossoms are a variety of carnivorous plant which can be found in Murkmire. The blossom part of the plant resembles a fanged mouth which splits into three "petals" when it opens, which contains a poisonous gas which the Gas Blossom releases when it senses prey or a threat. The rest of the plant is a mass of thick, tentacle-like roots which can easily burrow into most surfaces.
Gemweed[edit]
Gemweed is an herb found in northwestern Tamriel. It can be used in healing poultices.
Giant Lichen[edit]
Giant Lichen can be found growing in the swamps of Hjaalmarch in Skyrim.
Giant Xylaria[edit]
Giant Xylaria is a fungus that grows almost exclusively in the Ashlands region of Vvardenfell.[1] They resemble giant spikes growing out of the ground and accidentally walking into one would likely be fatal. Specially treated spores from this fungus can be ground into a substance known as "Xylaria Dreaming Powder" which is said to create vivid dreams. [2]
Gildergreen[edit]
The Gildergreen is a holy tree found in the Skyrim city of Whiterun. It is sacred to worshippers of Kynareth, and is of great importance to the city's Temple of Kynareth.
It was grown from a cutting or seedling (accounts vary) taken from the ancient Eldergleam.
Ginkgo[edit]
The Ginkgo Tree (also called Gingko)[3] is a tree found throughout the provinces of Cyrodiil and the Summerset Isle, as well as the rivers and lakes of Hammerfell. For the most part, these green trees are inconspicuous to the simple eye, but are noticeable by their peculiar half-moon shaped leaves, which is said to edible and very sweet-tasting. According to local legend, when mixing the leaves with the pulp of aloe vera, it can increase the consumer's stamina for a short time.[4] Eventually, these trees start blooming with white flowers, eventually they grow exponentially and ancient.[5] They were also found in Gaiar Alata before its destruction.
Ginseng[edit]
Ginseng is an herb whose roots are harvested for their spice. There are two varieties; one with red flowers and another with yellow ones. They can be found in the Gold Coast and Nibenay Valley regions.

Gleamblossom[edit]
Gleamblossom is a purple flower found only within the Forgotten Vale. There have also been rare samples found in Valenwood caves.[6]
Gleamcap[edit]
Gleamcaps are a variety of small mushroom which grows in caves, their name relates to the glittering effect seen in its spores.[7] The mushroom is known to grow in Merion's Bliss on Auridon.
Gloom Morel[edit]
Dark brown-black mushrooms with a bumpy texture and they are described to smell "rancid". They only grow in area which have been tainted by Daedric incursion, such as the destroyed Gil-Var-Delle in southern Valenwood. The Gloom Morel is said to feed on decaying flesh.
Gloomreach Mushroom[edit]
A glowing green mushroom located in Gloomreach, a cave within Blackreach.
Gloomspore Agaric[edit]
Gloomspore Agaric is a species of strongly luminescent mushroom that releases bright glowing spores. It grows in Blackreach and has been used in alchemical experiments which enhance lycanthropy.
Glowing Mushroom[edit]
Luminescent, blue-green shelf mushrooms with long tendrils similar in appearance to jellyfish. Found clinging to the walls of caves in Skyrim.
Glowstalk[edit]
Glowstalks are plants that are native to Mainland Morrowind in the areas around Deshaan. They have a large stem with a ball at the end that gives off a natural orange lighting. There are many varieties of glowstalks, including those found in the fertile Darkshade Caverns, the Spiral Skein, and Coldharbour. Glowstalks come in many shapes and sizes: towering tree-like bulbs with thick stalks, small growths resembling flower patches, and massive sprawling vine-like structures are among those shapes.
Glowbush[edit]
Glowbush are plants with a bioluminescence that grow in the Spiral Skein, Mephala's realm.
Gold Kanet[edit]
Gold Kanet is a flowering plant commonly found in the Ascadian Isles and on Azura's Coast. They are easily noticed due to their yellow petals. Roland's Tear is a rare variety of the flower which is highly sought after by alchemists.
Golden Lichen[edit]
Golden Lichen is a lichen that grows in Vvardenfell.
Golden Sedge[edit]
Golden Sedge is a flowering reed found in several places of Mournhold.
Goldenrod[edit]
Goldenrod is a tall, yellow flowering plant with many short leaves, found around the Golden Coast of Cyrodiil.
Gourd[edit]
The gourd plant can be found throughout Skyrim and is commonly grown on farms for food.
Grape Vine[edit]
Grape vines are grown on farms and in the famous vineyards of Skingrad. They are raised from the ground by wooden stakes and ropes.
Graven Cap[edit]
Graven Cap is a sweet-smelling[8] mushroom found around Othrenis in the Stonefalls region.
Gray Mushroom[edit]
Gray Mushrooms are known to be grown by Goblins in Fearfrost Caverns, when consumed they increase the speed of the consumer.
Green Lichen[edit]
Green Lichen is a rare plant, mostly found growing on rocks in the West Gash region of Morrowind.
Green Stain Cup[edit]
Green stain cups are common aqua-green capped mushrooms. They are found in a concentrated number in the Blackwood region.
Green Stain Shelf[edit]
Green stain shelf mushrooms are a rare shelf fungi found on the sides of some rocks and trees in a small amount around Cyrodiil.
Grove Carpet[edit]
Grove Carpet is a type of moss indigenous to Galen. It is known to possess remarkable properties. Druids utilized living budlings of this moss in their rituals and transformation-based magic. Surprisingly, Grove Carpet is known for its near-indestructibility in bud form. Even ancient budlings, when sprinkled with water, can swiftly grow into lush plants within a matter of days. It's uncertain whether different druidic circles utilized those buds differently. However, the Druids of the Firesong Circle were known for their specific utilization of Grove Carpet, though the exact purposes for which they employed it remain a mystery.
By employing magic alongside a variety of other ingredients and tool, including scarab-host boxes, pulsating amber hearts, tablets carved from petrified tree bark, clay, chimera hair brushes, writhing vine mass, mulch, living bark, and pigment sourced from phoenix moths, grove carpet buds were used to alter ones their appearance as a tribute to changing seasons and to mirror the likeness of trees. This visage was known as Barkroot Blessing.
