The Maar Gan Shrine

The Maar Gan Shrine is the holy site that is the main attraction of Maar Gan, located on the east side of town.

The Magic Rock of Maar Gan

This shrine is the home of the Magic Rock of Maar Gan, which attracts pilgrims from across Vvardenfell to this holy site. The Falasmaryon Propylon Index may be found here, left as an offering on the altar. If you have installed the Master Index official plugin, you can purchase this from Salen Ravel. Otherwise, however, you will have to steal it if you want it. There are some plants growing here (trama roots and black anther), but it is a crime to harvest them, so unless you're really sneaky you'd be best to leave them alone. The only services provided at the shrine are by Salen Ravel, who can be found in his quarters down the stairs to the left. He has a selection of ingredients, potions, and spells for sale, as well as offering spellmaking services. Also in this shrine you will find the (sort of) friendly Dremora, Anhaedra. Speaking to him will give you the option to taunt him into attacking you, which you must do as part of the pilgrimage to Maar Gan.
