Yanashpi

Yanashpi is a large and well-defended cave in the Velothi Mountains.

Yanashpi is most easily reached from the small mountain village of Uman - simply walk along the path leading from that village, but turn right just before it heads out into the Armun Ashlands, then turn right again at the next fork. The cavern entrance lies just to the east of Hendor-Stardumz, a colossal Dwemer ruin, and indeed Dwarven architecture lies exposed in the walls of the lower cavern.

The bandits here appear to be prepared to repel intruders and there is a palisade manned by an archer in the first chamber. This caution is perhaps sparked by the cave's proximity to the goblin stronghold of Kharom, which lies but only a little way further up the mountain slope.

Obguz gro-Borgum, a wealthily armored Orc, guards the group's stash in the lower levels of the cavern, which is where most of the wealth of the cave can be found. The captive Khajiit, S'rajan, is held prisoner just to the south of Obguz's chamber - Obguz carries the key to both the door and S'rajan's bracers.

Upper Level

• An ancient chest on a ledge near the entrance contains the enchanted Nyrebo's Spear.

Lower Level

• Obguz gro-Borgum carries the slave key, two Adamantium Pauldrons and the enchanted longsword, Platebreaker.
• An Adamantium Tanto and the Axe Skill Book The Axe Man can be found in Obguz's room.
• The same room contains a locked chest with Glass Throwing Stars and Hartwig's Iron Right Grip, an enchanted gauntlet that fortifies strength and Axe skill.
• Exposed Ebony veins can be found in the chamber with the lava pit, in the southeast.
