The Gehenoth is the strongest enemy in the game. It can appear when you camp and is capable of inflicting Frost Limbs. If you are not sufficiently leveled, it will likely be too tough for you. If this is the case, your best option is to flee. It is killable, however, and if you manage to do so, there's a chance of it dropping a Keenblood Blade.^{[verification needed — Exclusively this weapon?]}

As the Gehenoth Thriceborn, it is the last enemy you encounter during the final showdown. Once you kill it, the game is successfully completed.

Notes

• While tempting, there is no reason to camp endlessly to spawn multiple Gehenoths. They will only drop a piece of random loot, just like all other creatures in the game.
• In imgfiles.lmp, the Gehenoth is referred to as warden, likely carried over from Stormhold's Warden Varus, who plays a similar role to the Gehenoth.
