Cliff Keep is a location found in the Sunforge region of north-central Hammerfell, along the Dragontail Mountains and east of Skaven.[1]
The town has been in existence since at least the Tiber War, around 2E 862.[1] During the Imperial Simulacrum in the late-Third Era, the village of Cliff Keep was an active settlement. It was ruled by Lady Lhan-i and had a rivalry with Dragon Gate. Taverns in the village included the Dancing Guard, Devil's Cup, Flying Golem, Gold Giants, Green Castle, and Lucky Golem inns, with religious groups of the Conclave of Baal, Order of the Golden Tomb, and Order of the One Prophet had temples in the town.[2] Cliff Keep is neighbored by several settlements, including Skaven to the west, Belkarth and Nimbel Moor to the east, and Vulkneu Town to the south.[3]
