Move

I think the reason moves are proposed and done by those who have the proper permissions to switch the titles of the main page and redirect is to preserve the edit history. By just moving all the content that doesn't happen, not sure if that's bad just something I thought was protocol. Mindtrait0r (talk) 02:29, 2 April 2024 (UTC)

While in most cases it is true that this is a helpful and a good idea - in this specific page's case it already had most of its history lost given it was formerly a section in the Lore:Reachmen. Some history is lost, though vast majority of those would be my edits quite likely. Still in case any of admins wish to do it that way, they certainly can do it in such way to preserve the contents. Also I honestly assumed one of big reasons why the suggestion is made is for people to make decisions in cases where grounds to rename a page are more contested - here there is no need to debate for reasons for changing the name - since the only official name of the language is Reach-tongue it should go by it, rather than more descriptive name it had before.Tyrvarion (talk) 02:41, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
