Mentioning His Name[edit]
If you're in House Redoran and already freed the pilgrim, mentioning his name to Beden Giladren will mark his quest as closed and he'll ask to retrieve shields. Once you'll return shields, he'll say he have no more quests for you, thus skipping first quests. Oxyk 01:14, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
Even if you're not House Redoran you can turn the quest into Lloros Sarano and it will clear it from your journal. No reward though.
- The article states... *Non-Redoran characters can also get this quest by going straight to the Mila-Nipal camp. (but cannot turn in the quest or clear the journal entry).
- The statement in parentheses appears to be inaccurate, and also conflicts with the previous comment in this thread.
- From my own recent experience, I visited the yurt as a non-Redoran and could not initiate dialogue about purchasing the captive's freedom. However, I cast a Command spell on both of them to lead them outside. I led them some distance away from the camp, and when I spoke with them this time I was successful in negotiating the release of the captive.
- Since the topic had become unlocked, I visited the Ald-ruhn Temple to attempt to turn in the quest. I succeeded in completing the quest, but there was no reward besides Redoran reputation. Chill fridge (talk) 06:54, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
