The King of the Desert (ODDDesertPyPharaoQuest)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 It seems as if Tyrfing really is here in the pyramid. However, it is located in a chamber that only the pharaoh himself can open. He ekes out an eternal life as an undead, but he says he will help me if I bring him his heart. Mephala perserves it in Mel Hasma - a city of the dead. The pharaoh will open a gate there. When I have it in my possession, I will then return to him.
12 In Mel Hasma, I met Elgath. Apparently, he and all the other Dunmer are bound to this location by the Pharaoh's heart. Only when it is resting back in the pharaoh's body will they find peace. In order to gain the heart, I have to put the tablet, which I have translated, into a recess and pass through Ayhamli's gate to reach the Tunnel of Souls that leads to the pharaoh's heart on the other side of the valley.
20 I've found the pharaoh's heart. Now I just have to return it to him.
30 I gave the pharaoh his heart. Now he will open for me the chamber in which I suspect Tyrfing lies.
80 Finishes quest☑ The pharaoh set his heart back inside himself and died on the spot. I should now pick up the sword and prepare for Mephala's wrath.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On PC It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDDesertPyPharaoQuest stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
