Aksel the Battlemage is a Nord smith member of the Mages Guild who sells defensive staves. He wears a full set of ebony armor (sans helmet and shield), a green robe hood, and a Daedric Battlestaff, and wields a dwemer longsword. He carries a robe and a copy of Manual of Spellcraft.

Aksel can always be found at his post in the Arcane University Practice rooms, where he buys and sells weapons, armor, and miscellaneous items.
