Connections to the quest[edit]

I just need to know what Perennia has to do with Following a Lead, other than her ghost.GJPal 21:12, 19 July 2007 (EDT)

Nothing. But her ghost appearing in a quest seems like enough reason to list that as a related quest. --NepheleTalk 21:04, 20 July 2007 (EDT)
Well her ghost isn't really part of that quest. It's just that being the next quest you happen to be at Applewatch so you activate her grave. If you don't activate it, you can still come back and activate it after years and the ghost will still spawn. --Sundaroct131088 16:31, 31 August 2007 (EDT) --Sundaroct131088 16:32, 31 August 2007 (EDT)
Well observed- I've deleted the quest link to following a lead--Willyhead 16:55, 31 August 2007 (EDT)

Killing her before DB[edit]

Does anyone know what happens if you kill her before joining the Dark Brotherhood? Will I still be able to do the quest? — Unsigned comment by 98.169.99.19 (talk) at 17:07 on 27 April 2008 (UTC)

The list appears on her body. Already noted on the quest page. –RpehTCE 15:24, 27 April 2008 (EDT)

Feel bad about it[edit]

I've been enjoying the DB quest-line, but I've just killed her and feel bad now. She was a sweet old lady. ComaDivine 16:37, 2 September 2008 (EDT)

Yes. This is one of the few DB quests where you don't kill people who kind of deserve it. Seems rather cruel compared with the pirate captain etc... — Unsigned comment by 87.127.79.8 (talk) on 21 March 2009

Speed[edit]

(moved from the article)

Couldn't find how to put in, BUT she is quite frankly a rediculously fast NPC. If you can't manage to kill her within her home, she will travel all around the Bruma area running from you. The only way to kill her then is to wait for her to return to her house, which will take forever. (This should go under npc information, but, again, I was unable to find that edit button.

She's not that fast. Her speed is leveled, but it only starts at 30 and rises at just 0.6 point per level. That means her speed will still only be 80 even if you're at level 50. rpeh •TCE 09:50, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

More on speed[edit]

That is interesting. When I was about level 20, I chased her on Shadowmere for a while, but this horse was much too slow for her and she got away. — Unsigned comment by 24.163.112.151 (talk) at 21:10 on 27 July 2010
