Not reachable[edit]

He is behind the bars in the prison, which you need a key to open. The only way to approach him in order to talk is to wait at the bars and he 'll eventually come to you. That's why i added that note ("* In order to talk to J'baana, approach the door he is behind, and he 'll eventually come to you.") but you undo it: ("Rpeh (Talk | contribs) (Undo revision 539377 by 80.240.17.33 (Talk); incomprehensible - sounds like one player's experience)"). So according to you Rpeh, he is approachable in any other way? — Unsigned comment by 80.240.22.244 (talk) at 14:33 on 15 February 2010

Yes. Enter The Bastion and unlock the back door. rpeh •TCE 14:44, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Skeleton Key and Master Training[edit]

Since the Skeleton Key operates as an ability, which affects base skill, is it theoretically possible to initiate Master Security training without actually hitting 70 skill by using the Skeleton Key? 24.156.216.144 10:36, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

yes (I plead LazynessEddie The Head 10:39, 3 October 2011 (UTC))
Given that Security is the only skill to have a fortify ability that isn't tied to a specific location, it may be notable for a Bugs section. I doubt it was intended behaviour to have the Skeleton Key allow early access to the Master trainer. 24.156.216.144 13:32, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
I've added a note to the Skeleton Key page, but I don't think it needs describing as a bug. rpeh •TCE 13:59, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

Unable to Start[edit]

I have spoken to both Dro'shanji and Mandil during times when they offer training, and I have verified that they cannot train me further, and they do not have a "Training" dialog topic. I went to find J'baana, and I found him dead inside the Bastion. I used the console to resurrect him, but he does not offer training, whether in service or in topic, and the other trainers still don't talk about training. Another thing that might be bugging this is the fact that I once had master Security with the Skeleton Key, but I have since put it away and am no longer even Expert level in Security, because I want to train up my Agility further. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this or if there is a workaround to activate master Security training. Thanks. Agiar2000 (talk) 00:47, 13 February 2023 (UTC)

UPDATE:

I have so far been unable to find a way to add the appropriate Training topic to the dialog of the quest givers, but I did find that I could get around that by using the command: setstage TrainingSecurity 10 That essentially acted as though I had just received the quest from one of the advanced trainers, and I was able to speak to J'baana as desired. --Agiar2000 (talk) 10:20, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
