Inside Detritus you can find them approaching Gatzug's spirit. He defeats them, but soon after he is consumed by a pool of blood.

Gatzug: "Y-you're alive? Get back! I don't want to hurt you. Not again."

Gatzug: "The blood! The blood … no!"
