Master Metrand Vyrix

Master Metrand Vyrix is a Breton Tribute Grand Master and a follower of Hermaeus Mora who can be found in the Seeker's Archive, by its tallest statue. He appears only if the Endless Archive's initial quest was completed.

Dialogue

You can talk to him. He may respond with one of the following responses:

"The Prince of Fate knows all, sees all. It was the merest flick of a tentacle to understand your approach. To advise of your challenge in the game of Tribute."

"The master of Apocrypha spoke in my ear during my devotions. You seek a game of Tribute. To prove yourself."

"I have come to learn from the Seeker's Archive, traveler. As the coastal princes of Pyandonea once said, you can't cross the straight [sic] just by staring at the water.
True knowledge demands an active hand."

• Like the Founders, Metrand owns and selects a Tribute deck Metrand Vyrix, named after him, replacing Sorcerer-King Orgnum and using its Patron ability. This deck contains three Draoife Ritecaller, two Forest Wraith, three Ink and Blood, two King Orgnum's Command, four Lantern of the Endless, two Maormer Cutter, two Seeker Aspirant, and two Snakeskin Freebooter cards.
• Defeating Master Metrand Vyrix will earn you the Metrand Met His Match achievement.
• To play against him, you must first complete the initial quest of the Infinite Archive.
