The Moongrave Fane Style is a crafting motif that can only be learned by reading the chapters of the Crafting Motif 78: Moongrave Fane book. Like most motifs, the chapters are for a specific gear piece or weapon type (i.e., the "swords" chapter has both the one-handed and two-handed sword styles). Chapters (or rarely the entire book) are a possible drop from Grundwulf within Moongrave Fane on Normal or Veteran mode. Chapters are a guaranteed drop in Veteran Hard Mode. It can also be purchased from the Crown Store for 050005000 .

Like all styles, it is purely cosmetic. Items will have the same stats regardless of the style you use.
