The Ard's Stonehands are concerned about a witch matron of a rogue Reach clan attempting a dangerous ritual. I need to put a stop to this ritual and rescue the innocent Reachfolk that were abducted to carry it out
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Free the captives.
- Kill Voidmother Elgroalif.
- Talk to Gwenyfe.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Gwenyfe has some troubling news concerning Four Skull Lookout. A witch is meddling in Void magic, and she's taken captives. Whatever the witch is doing, it can't be good, thus Gwenyfe has asked you to free the captives and kill the witch.
Head on over to Four Skull Lookout, which lies northwest of Rebel's Retreat. Free the three captives, which are tied to posts in three corners surrounding the ritual circle. Then, kill Witch-Lord Kegairn. Once you've completed these tasks, return to Gwenyfe in Markarth for your reward.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
