Corporea Secretus[edit]

Corporea Secretus
Corporea Secretus Crystal Room

The magicka focus for the Chorus is located here. A Tomeshell is floating beside a desk immediately to the left when you enter. How Rajhin Stole the Book that Knows is sitting atop a stool on the left side of the entry hall.

The sentinel's eye in the first chamber will stun and damage you if it sees you. There's a Lurker feeding on the two dead Dremnaken in the middle of the room.

The Magicka Focus lies within the Corporea Secretus Crystal Room. A number of Comatose Bodies line the perimeter of the room: their combined cognition comprises the Chorus, Hermaeus Mora's "library of minds".

Rectory Archive[edit]

Interior

There are many sentinel's eyes lining the upper floor, where you'll find yourself when you enter. Try to avoid their searchlights while you navigate the balcony.

On the lower floor, there's an altar flanked by two podiums, each holding a book. Conversations with Sleeps-Fitfully is on the left, and Administrative Ledger, Entry 3,412 is on the right.

Esoterica Corporea[edit]

Esoterica Corporea
Interior

The Esoterica Corporea is where new minds join the Chorus. More Comatose Bodies reside here, and the door to the Choral Mind Registry is in the back of the room. The registry contains an auxiliary somnambulum which will allow you to enter the Rectory Network.

Rectory Network[edit]

The Rectory Network is the combined consciousness that makes up the Chorus, Hermaeus Mora's "library of minds". The entrance lies within the Esoterica Corporea. Ethereal, pale green tomeshells float through the halls. You can re-enter the real world at any time by interacting with your body.

Rectory Network Entrance[edit]

Rectory Network

When you first enter the network, you'll find yourself in an atrium with a large, tentacled plant-like structure housed in the center of the room. A few bookshelves, a table with chairs, and a desk or two dress the scene. There's an open archway to the left (south) that leads outside the structure.

You'll encounter Dremora Rectory guardians throughout the area. The first section is a neural pathway with arches visible in the distance. There's a watcher near the end of the path: you'll also find a podium with the Pact of the Daggerfall Devil on it.

On the path ahead, you'll find Rectory guardians fighting off an incursion of death hounds, which manifested as a result of a nearby memory fragment: a recollection of the rogue mind's first kill. Once you pass by Chompy's Bone, the sky turns red. Wraiths lie on the path just ahead, which the guardians are also fending off. There are snakes in the grass.

The world is shrouded in a violet haze once you approach the first flesh atronach. Like the hounds and wraiths before them, they are apparent intrusions resulting from a rogue memory fragment.

Rectory Network Memory Vault[edit]

You'll fight the Daggerfall Devil here. There are a few bookshelves, but otherwise nothing of note. The door leading back to the entrance lies at the top of the staircase.
