"The Nobles District, of course. Only ruins remain of it though. I lost everything when the Daedra overran the City, but I have some small hopes of recovering much of my wealth."

How?

"A merchant named Maximinus owes me a great debt, which I hope to collect. If you travel to the Market District, would you find him and tell him I'm calling in that debt?"

If I see him, I'll let him know.

If you spoke to him again after accepting the quest, he would have said:

"Please find Maximinus, if you can. I desperately need that money!"

After the quest, he would have greeted you in one of the following:

"Good to see you've survived the City thus far, friend. I've heard that Maximinus is dead. Serves him right."

"I've already heard. Maximinus was always hard to collect money from. I bet he died just so he wouldn't have to repay me."

"Welcome back. Others have told me Maximinus is dead. Alas that he died before paying off his debts."

"Good to see you again, friend. No need to tell me the news; I see by your face that Maximinus is dead. And his debts died with him, sadly."
