Quest-Related Events

You will first meet him along the western road leading to Shor's Stone. He will be lying against a meadow. When you approach him:

"Shor's bones! I feel like a mammoth was set on me."

He has been ambushed by a giant. He will ask of you to retrieve his stolen shipment and once you have the goods, he will reward you:

"Is… is this really it? Where's the mead? The songs?"

What are you talking about? Are you hurt?

"I'm dead, aren't I? No? That giant took me by surprise. Wrecked my wagon on the road and clubbed me so hard I swear I was swimming in the sky. I blacked out after that. I thought I'd wake in Sovngarde."

You seem all right to me. Physically.

"Lucky, I guess.
Anyway, you look a strong enough sort. Would you be willing to retrieve the shipment of goods from my wagon? Can't be too far from here. If you find them, meet me in Shor's Stone. There'll be some coin in it for you."

I'll see what I can do.

Speaking to him again:

"I'll just rest here a moment until my head stops swimming. Go on, I'll see you later in Shor's Stone."

After retrieving his goods, you'll find him in Shor's Stone shelter enjoying a drink:

"Good to see you again, friend. Any luck finding my goods?"

I salvaged what I could.

"No trouble from giants, eh? Well, you have my thanks and that of the good patrons here. They'll eat and drink well tonight because of you."

Post-quest:

"Thanks again for your help. I think I'll stay here and get some strong drink in my belly before braving the roads again."
