I revealed High Kinlady Estre is the Veiled Queen. Queen Ayrenn wants me to make sure Dawnbreak is safe for her to continue her campaign.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Speak to Canonreeve Sinyon outside Dawnbreak.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
After Estre reveals herself to be the Veiled Queen and escapes, Queen Ayrenn will have some new orders for her agent.
- "Estre must pay for this."
- You want me to track down Estre?
- "It's more subtle than that. My campaign will take me through Dawnbreak, but my Eyes tell me the Canonreeve there, Sinyon, supports the Veiled Heritance. If Estre has fled, she may seek reinforcements there."
- What do you want me to do?
- "Go to Dawnbreak and speak to Sinyon. Be my Eyes there and make sure it's safe. I can't have Estre disrupting the campaign, and Urcelmo is already pushing through to Firsthold for preparations.
Razum-dar and I have much to discuss." - I'll make sure Dawnbreak is safe.
Dawnbreak is northwest of Skywatch. The canonreeve is standing outside the city.
- "I wouldn't go into town if I were you. Just keep on to Firsthold."
- I came to speak with you about High Kinlady Estre and the Veiled Heritance.
- "Estre. If only you arrived here sooner. It's a lesson I'll never forget. She decimated my town!
If you can help, please, speak to Landare."
Canonreeve Sinyon gives you gold for speaking to him, completing the quest.
Bugs[edit]
- If you accept Through the Ashes from Captain Landare before completing To Dawnbreak, Sinyon might not talk to you, preventing from completing this quest. ?
- Abandoning Through the Ashes and relogging allows you to talk to Sinyon again

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
