Hezehk will ask for help to recover the secret he was taking to the Obscured Forum on behalf of Madam Whim which he was robbed of by the Voidprowlers. After you help him with tracking the thieves, you find several dead Voidprowlers at the entrance to the Obscured Forum and one survivor:

Hezehk: "One of the thieves! You talk to her. It could be a trick."

Voidprowler Dys: "Ah, great. Now you're here."

Speak with Voidprowler Dys to see what happened:

"I told him it was a bad idea. Zavaal. Said he underestimated them.
Ah, damn, this stings."

Who's Zavaal and what did he underestimate?

"Our leader. Pushed us to raid the Forum. Quite the bounty, he thought.
I told him—the Darkreaves live in there. They'll tear us up. Now look."

What are the Darkreaves?

"Vicious guards. Crazed. Attack on sight. Unless you're a book.
You're with the runt. Zavaal's still in there. If you go after him? You'll die, too."

We're going in after him.

You have the option of continuing to talk to Dys:

"Last I saw Zavaal? He ran deep into the Forum. Have fun with the Darkreaves, if you go in.
Now leave me be, mortal. I have dying to do."

Why did you steal the secret from Hezehk?

"Not personal. He works for Whim. She has the juicy stuff. Valuable.
With that and the score here, maybe we'd get our own fortress."

Why would you want to hurry dying?
