Auriel's Shield

Auriel's Shield is a powerful shield allegedly created and used by the elven god Auri-El. It can be found wielded by a Falmer Warmonger in the Forgotten Vale Forest after using the Ruby Paragon on the paragon portal. After 5 successful blocks, the shield will start glowing and a shockwave can be released by power bashing, which becomes stronger with each 5 blocked attacks. After 15 blocked attacks, the shield is fully charged and the shockwave is similar to the effect of the Unrelenting Force shout.

Notes

• Unlike normal power bashes, using the fully charged shield to bash the opponent during a brawl violates the rules of the brawl and will give you an assault bounty.
• Bloodchill Cavern^CC, Hendraheim^CC, Tundra Homestead's cellar^CC and Myrwatch's gallery^CC contain a special holder for this item.

Bugs

• If you are a werewolf and use the maximum power bash, a message will appear informing you that you consumed a heart and the werewolf perk has increased. ^?
