Skyrim:Wild Horse

Wild Horses are horses which can be encountered in the wild. They will flee if approached, although they will attack nearby hostiles if necessary. A wild horse can be tamed by continuing to mount it until it breaks. After being tamed, the horse can be registered and named at any stable.

Once tamed, the horse becomes an owned mount. If you switch to a different mount, it will slowly make its way back to the location you originally found it.

All wild horses are essential, unlike purchasable horses.

• There are seven wild horses in total. The Unicorn acts almost identically to other wild horses but is documented elsewhere.

Wild Horse
