Detailed Walkthrough

Speak to Laalalvo Irano about 'orders'. If you have recently completed Noble Protection, you may need to wait several days before she has any. However, once she does, she will ask you to handle the legendary vampire, Akavorioc, who supposedly dwells in Dun Akafell. A group of nobles has pooled together to commission the kiling - after all, Dun Akafell is a place Laalalvo has previously said the guild should charge triple for going near.

You can optionally speak to noble residents of Akamora about Akavoriac. Surol Volayn, outside Arenim Manor, has an especially interesting take.

Eyes of fire, skin of stone. A true son of Coldharbour he is. The fiend will be accompanied by the broken-willed mortals who yielded to his tortures. They don't know what they're doing, and a knowing soul wouldn't harm them.

However, most information will be found at The Inn Between, which you will need to journey to. It's a straightforward (and signposted journey) along the road leading from Akamora. Simply get to the southwest side of town, near the silt strider platform, and follow the signposts to The Inn Between (in general, where you do encounter forks, take the ones leading south.

Once inside the Inn Between, speak to the residents about Akavorioc. They will suggest that he resides in the old manor district of Dun Akafell, having been a former noble. This can be found in the southwestern corner of the ruined city.

Dun Akafell itself is northwest of The Inn Between (not northeast as some in the inn state), past the entrance to the Timmapolu Eggmine. The complex is vast, with almost every interior filled with vampires. While searching each can yield valuable loot, and a small fortune in vampire dust, you want to the manor district, which is a little tricky to find. Begin by finding the double row of pillars (pictured), south of the aqueduct. Follow them west, skirting the edge of the pit into which all the water is running.

West of this pit is a tree. Behind it is a rocky archway. Passing under this will take you to the manor district, where Akavorioc resides. Of the three manors, enter the Forsaken Manor, and find your way to its basement (there are two). Akavorioc will challenge you on your approach, and you will be forced to fight him. Kill him, and return to Laalalvo to report your success.
