Quick Walkthrough

Speak to Malvys Nethrelas at the Dassur-Kur Lookout OR Awfully-Swift-Skink, north of that same lookout.

Helping Malvys

1. Find Awfully-Swift-Skink (directly north to Rethil Farm, and then north-east to a promontory) and tell him to come back with you.
2. Return to Malvys, who will order Awfully-Swift Skink's death.
3. Kill Awfully-Swift Skink.
4. Return to Malvys for a 10 gold reward.

Helping Awfully-Swift-Skink

1. Speak to Salt-Mane Dro'Qosha. He is in the field east of the walled Oran Plantation compound, and will tell you where to find the keys to the slave bracers.
2. Obtain a key (exact locations below), and free Awfully-Swift Skink. There is no reward for doing this.

Key locations

One key is held by the plantation foreman, Dels Ravyn. Dels can be found in a house in the walled plantation complex. The other key is kept between some books in Ulvo Hlaari’s bedroom, in the atrium of the main manor. A Hlaalu guard, Malvys Nethrelas, can be found pacing around the Dassur-Kur lookout to the east of Oran Plantation. He is the questgiver for Awfully-Swift-Skink Breaks Free.

10		Malvys Nethrelas, an overseer in the Oran Plantation farmland, asked me to find and bring back an escaped slave named Awfully-Swift-Skink. Nethrelas thinks the slave is somewhere north from here.
30		Awfully-Swift-Skink refuses to follow me. He says he'd rather die than go back to the plantation. Perhaps I should go tell Malvys that I've found the slave, but can't bring him back alone.
60		Malvys Nethrelas wasn't pleased to hear that Awfully-Swift-Skink refused to return to the plantation. Thinking that the slave will probably never stop acting up, the overseer told me to kill Awfully-Swift-Skink.
105	Finishes quest	Malvys Nethrelas thanked me for doing what was necessary.
110	Finishes quest	I convinced Malvys Nethrelas that Awfully-Swift-Skink had found a way to unlock his slave's bracers and that searching for him would be pointless.
120	Finishes quest	Malvys Nethrelas wasn't very happy to hear that I had helped Awfully-Swift-Skink to go free.
Awfully-Swift-Skink Breaks Free (TR_m4_wil_OranEscaped2)
10		I told Awfully-Swift-Skink, a slave on the run, that I'd help him go free by finding the key to his slave bracers. The Argonian doesn't know where the key can be found. I should go look for it. Awfully-Swift-Skink told me that another slave named Salt-Mane Dro'qosha in the fields near the Oran Plantation might have some information regarding the key.
20		Salt-Mane Dro'qosha told me that there are two copies of the Oran Plantation slave key. One of the keys is being held by foreman Dels Ravyn and the other belongs to Ulvo Hlaari who keeps it in his room.
40	Finishes quest	Awfully-Swift-Skink thanked me for unlocking his slave bracers. He is now free.
