The axe was last spotted at the Armun Pass Outpost.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Feldril Sathis at his Hlan Oek manor about business and stolen under my watch.
2. Talk to Bala Dralor at the Armun Pass Outpost about Atran Oran's Ebony Battle Axe.
3. Ask Farenu Undreno in the outpost's inn about Runat to discover its whereabouts.
4. Travel to Runat using Farenu's directions and retrieve Atran Oran's Ebony Battle Axe from the Dark Elf, Vanu.
5. Return to Feldril Sathis.
6. Travel to Oran Plantation, present the axe to Atran Oran and either:
   • Lie (1000 gold).
   • Tell the truth (3000 gold, +10 Hlaalu rep).
   • Note that you were asked not to say (1000 gold).
7. Either return to Feldril once more, having kept quiet on his failing (200 gold, +5 Hlaalu rep).
8. Or return to Feldril once more, having told the truth (no reward).

Notes

• If the axe is found and given to Atran Oran outside of this quest, you will be rewarded with 1000 gold (and +5 Hlaalu reputation if you are a member of the house).
• The gang in Runat are also the target of an Andothren bounty, and 600 gold can be collected from Agronak gro-Dumag in Andothren's Imperial Commission: Garrison in the event that all members are killed.

10		Councilor Atran Oran's ebony battle axe was stolen by a group of bandits while under Feldril Sathis' watch. He wants me to track down the bandits and recover the axe. The bandits supposedly passed through the Armun Pass Outpost. The governor thinks I should start my investigation there.
20		I was told that the suspicious group of travelers tried to sell Bala Dralor an expensive axe.
25		Bala Dralor told me that the a group of travelers dressed as Hlaalu guards tried to sell Atran Oran's ebony battle axe to her. She couldn't afford it. The bandits then left in a hurry. She believes one of them mentioned a place called 'Runat'. Dralor says she doesn't know where it is, but maybe someone at the outpost does.
30		I was told that Runat is a cave north-northwest of Arvud.
50		I have recovered Atran Oran's ebony battle axe.
75		Governor Feldril Sathis told me to take the ebony battle axe directly to Atran Oran. He asked me not to mention it being stolen. Atran Oran can be found in his manor at Oran Plantation.
100		I returned Atran Oran's ebony battle axe to Councilor Atran Oran. I tried repeating the governor's lie about the ship being late, but the Councilor already knew it not to be true. He gave me a reward nonetheless, and told me to go back to Hlan Oek.
125		I returned Atran Oran's ebony battle axe to Councilor Atran Oran. When asked, I told him I didn't know why the axe was delivered to him late. He gave me a reward, and told me to go back to Hlan Oek.
150		I returned Atran Oran's ebony battle axe to Councilor Atran Oran. When asked why the axe was late, I said I was told not to tell him. He gave me a reward, and told me to go back to Hlan Oek.
175		I returned Atran Oran's ebony battle axe to Councilor Atran Oran. When asked why the axe was late, I told him the truth about it being stolen. Atran Oran gave me a reward, and told me to go back to Hlan Oek.
200	Finishes quest	Governor Feldril Sathis thanked me for taking the axe to Atran Oran. He also gave me a bit of gold for not telling serjo Oran that the axe was stolen while it was under his watch. The governor says we have more business to discuss.
250	Finishes quest	Governor Feldril Sathis thanked me for taking the axe to Atran Oran and says we have more business to discuss.
