Vannu Grotto

Vannu Grotto is a large many-layered grotto with few spots to breathe.

The entrance is underwater, set within one of the rocky obelisks that jut from Inner Sea. To find it, follow the road leading north from Tel Gilan, and take the left fork when you reach the cave of Yenidan. When the road next takes a sharp turn to the right, proceed instead into the sea.

The grotto is large, swarming with slaughterfish, and has three levels: Upper, Middle and Lower. Black holes in the cavern walls provide access. While the Upper Level is much more difficult to navigate than the comparatively linear Middle and Lower Levels, the latter two entirely lack air bubbles to catch your breath in.

The main treasure of the grotto lies embedded in the dirt in the Lower Level: an Ebony Longsword, which stands in the ground at the northern end of this level's chamber. Beyond this, you will be able to furnish your inventory with pearls taken from the kollops scattered thoroughout all three levels.
