Dirk Members[edit]

Tyra Blood-Fire[edit]

Tyra Blood-Fire was a Nord bandit who grew up a homeless orphan on the streets of Balmora. One day, a mysterious Dunmer outlaw only known as Reaver gave her a knife, and ordered her to rob somebody, saying that her first score is his. This first score ended up being a brilliant ruby, which was a fiery blood-red color, from which Tyra earned her last name.

Over the years the Reaver taught her and watched as she grew from a simple cutpurse to a strong bandit in her own right, and demanded more loot from her each time they met. Eventually he left for Skingrad, and Tyra went out and wandered the world. She encountered Urgnok in an Orc Stronghold during this time, and freed Skjol from a cage, who swore an oath of allegiance to her.

Eventually, 8 years after she last saw Reaver, she went to him looking for recruits for a bandit crew. In this time he had become a fat and lazy noble, but still held many criminal connections. Due to her demanding criteria however, he could only find 3 men that fit her specifications, Antonius, Aesrael, and Peladius. After meeting them, Tyra immediately planned the gang's first raid, on Reaver himself. During the raid Aesrael and Peladius dealt with the guards, Antonius cast a spell on the staff to get them out of the way, and Tyra went after Reaver herself. He told her his real name was Casival, and that there was a boy with that name begging in Skingrad. He gave her the ruby she gave him so many years ago, and then she killed him and looted his spoils, leaving behind only the bag of gold she payed him to find the recruits.

After this she served as the leader of the Crimson Dirks, and also taught some of the newer recruits as well. She liked Edward as a student over Casival. She personally recruited Yakhtu in Imperial City, and recruited M'Sharra as well, after the Khajiit had tried to pick a piece of silver out of her pocket. On Saturnalia, Tyra came up with a plan to forge Amulets of Talos and plant them on caravans they looted and burned, framing the Thalmor for the attacks.

Eventually the bandits hideout was discovered, but Tyra was given 3 days notice by Ehlhiel, so she ordered the gang to give as much of their spoils to the beggers as they could, dump the rest of it in the river, then disbanded the gang and ordered them to make their ways separately north into Skyrim. She also left behind dead bodies inside the hideout to fool the guards burning it down.

After disbanding the gang, she headed north to Solstheim with Skjol, and told him to wait in the wilderness south of Skaal Village. She then headed south to Skyrim. Eventually, she heard of the Last Dragonborn's exploits, and sent them a letter asking them to give an offering of their choice to a beggar in Windhelm to get a judge of their character. She then asked them to fight her in a duel at the statue of Talos outside Windhelm, where she was killed.

Despite being a rough bandit chief, Tyra had a sense of honor, and preferred loyalty and friendly bonds amongst her crew than just any bandit crew. Being an orphan, she sympathized with other outcasts and loners more than she did others. She also avoided needless bloodshed, and had a generous side as well, showing kindness to beggars. Due to her upbringing in Morrowind, she preferred sujamma over Nordic mead, and hated poetry, and didn't act much like other Nords, however, she did still worship Talos.

Aesrael[edit]

Aesrael is a High Elf hunter. He was an orphan, growing up in an empty orphanage on an empty street. When Tyra went to the Reaver looking for recruits, Aesrael was one of the three he hired for her.

Aesrael, along with Peladius, dealt with Reaver's guards when the gang made their first raid, against Reaver. Later, he led Casival, Pale-Eyes, and Ehlhiel on a mission to meet with a merchant noble to launder their goods, however the merchant was killed by a Penitus Oculatus Inspector. Aesrael defeated the assassin, but couldn't prevent them from taking their secrets to the grave. He also served as an information gatherer for the gang.

He was the first Tyra told when she disbanded the gang. After traveling north to Skyrim he stripped his Elven Hunter armor and went to hunting in the wilderness south of Sunderstone Gorge. After some time he discovered a wolf caught in a trap, and helped it recover from its wounds, keeping the wolf as a pet and naming it Dusk. The Jarl of Falkreath ordered a bounty on his head, with the guardsmen suggesting that any bounty hunters claim the bandit's armor in lieu of payment, due to dwindling funds.

Aesrael was described as physically large, and unlike most of the bandits was very cold and aloof, and never warmed to the other members, a trait Tyra regretted but understood.

Antonius[edit]

Antonius was a bandit hedge mage, in his mid-70s by 4E 201. He was of an unknown race, possibly being a Breton, Nord, or Imperial.

His life before the gang is mostly unknown, however he was wanted for poisoning a court wizard named Allenia in Firsthold with skooma, although it's unclear if he maliciously did so or was merely a bad influence and introduced her to the substance. He was also a former battlemage. After this he fled to Cyrodiil.

He was one of the first 3 members, alongside Aesrael and Peladius. When they raided Reaver's estate, he bespelled the servants to get them out of the way. Later he unwittingly sent Fathrys to his death by telling him the story of Ulfnir Bone-Skin and his Dragonscale Armor. After this he was one of the members Edward and Erwan taught a Khajiit game they picked up in Dune. He also advised the gang on the acquisition and smuggling of magical artifacts.

After the gang disbanded, he became involved in underground fighting pits at Cragslane Cavern. He gambled away all of his money, his Orcish Scaled armor forged by Yakhtu, and his bed. He planned to kill the Altmer armor collector he gave his armor to to get it back, but died in his sleep before he could do so. Unbeknownst to him, the Altmer was sent by one of his enemies to get revenge on him.

Antonius was a severe alcoholic, spending more time at the tavern than the mages guild, and oftentimes sitting in the same corner from dusk till dawn, drinking all manners of spirits. He spent so much time at the tavern that most of the time people didn't realize he was even there, like an odor only strangers could smell. He was also a chronic gambler, and may have been addicted to skooma at one point. Despite this he was a very talented mage, and Casival suspected the alcoholism may have merely been an act to cover up his worst impulses. He possessed a highly analytical mind only matched by his vices.

Bjormund Wind-Strider[edit]

Bjormund, also known as "The Dragon of Dawnstar", was a Nord in his late 50s as of 4E 201.

Bjormund was the son of a pirate from Dawnstar. His ancestors were members of the Dragonguard, and fashioned armor from the dragons they killed. One ancestor in particular wore Dragonplate Mail that made him immune to fire. There were legends that Bjormund himself killed a dragon and fashioned it's bones into armor, however this was apocryphal as it predated the return of the dragons. After living with various bandit clans in Skyrim, he moved south to Cyrodiil and joined the Crimson Dirks.

Bjormund was one of the members, along with Zaharia, M'Sharra, Fathrys, and Urgnok, who robbed and looted a caravan of monks around Saturalia, which gave Tyra the idea to forge Amulets of Talos to frame the Thalmor. Later, he an M'Sharra were involved in a scheme to tunnel under an East Empire Company warehouse and loot it under their noses. While there he found his ancestor's Dragonplate Mail, which was a perfect fit for him, and stole a dragon skull the size of a carriage and took a dozen Legionaires to move, parts of which was fashioned into a matching set of gloves, boots, and a helmet by Yakhtu. He was one of the members that served as the muscle for the gang.

After the gang was disbanded, he headed north to Skyrim on the same cart as Yakhtu, much to her dismay, as he would not stop talking the entire trip about his homeland. After this he took up mercenary work to stay on the move, eventually taking up the bounty against the Forsworn leader Crowstooth. Crowstooth killed him at his camp at Arcwind Point.

Bjormund was described as having a body as unbreakable as Stalhrim, and was a kind and gentle giant, loving the other bandits and poetry, and his homeland, and his ancestors, and mead, and Talos. He did however possess a restless warrior's spirit, which is what led him to mercenary work rather than going into hiding like the others. He also talked a lot, sometimes hours on end, and was overall very Nord-like, much to chagrin of other members of the gang.

Casival[edit]

Casival was a Dunmer scribe.

As a boy he was a beggar on the streets of Skingrad. He shared the same name as the Reaver, who also lived in Skingrad for 8 years. The Reaver asked Tyra Blood-Fire to recruit him into the gang as he died, which she would do sometime over a year later.

As a member of the gang, Peladius taught him how to read and write, and Tyra preferred Edward as a student over him. At some point it was noticed he was very skilled with a pen, and so he started functioning as the gang's scribe. He unsuccessfully tried to convince Fathrys to not go after Ulfnir Bone-Skin for a dragon scale, which led to his demise. After this Casival sent letters to a forger, who they used to buy a property next to an East Empire Company warehouse to rob it. Some months later he went with Aesrael, Pale-Eyes, and Ehlhiel to contact a merchant noble to launder their goods, however the merchant was killed and Casival himself was wounded by the assassin. At some point he asked Pale-Eyes what a good Argonian name for him would be, the response being Gathers-The-Coin.

After the gang disbanded, he went north to a Dwarven tower in the Reach and lived in it. Pretending to be an Argonian writer named Gathers-The-Coin, he wrote down the history of the Crimson Dirks, passing it off as a fictional story. He was eventually killed by a band of drunken looters looking for easy coin to make.

Edward[edit]

Edward is a Breton mage, and Erwan's twin brother.

Nothing is known about Edward's past.

After joining the Crimson Dirks, Edward, along with Erwan and Peladius, went to Dune and robbed the treasury of the Khajiit Clan Mother. They also killed a merchant who was going to launder the goods but instead tried to double cross them. Later, Edward taught the others the Khajiit game they learned from the merchant, though some of the rules were lost in translation, and were subsequently bent in Edward's favor. After Erwan was kidnapped by and subsequently killed a Daedric cult, he wore a set of Daedric Plate armor taken from them. Edward served as one of the battlemages of the gang.

After the gang disbanded, Edward went north to Skyrim, but not very far, stopping at Falkreath. He went to Dead Man's Drink and met a bounty hunter, paying him in gold and giving him his Daedric armor, in exchange for helping him fake his death. After taking a potion to simulate death, the bounty hunter dragged his body into town behind his horse, and Edward was buried in Falkreath's cemetery. The next week a Khajiit chasing him down over the theft of the goods in Elsweyr arrived in Whiterun only to be informed Edward was buried. The Khajiit then dug up Edward to be sure and was killed by Edward before he could go after the bounty hunter, who had used the armor to become a bandit chief at Knifepoint Ridge, an abandoned mine in Falkreath.

After faking his death he received a letter from his sister asking if he was truly dead, and if so, why he didn't let her kill him. Edward sent back a letter pointing out that the phrase "you'll be the death of me" is not literal, along with the dead merchant Gunther Frost-Foot and a copy of the Crimson Dirks book series, which he had found.

Edward was described as having a scathing wit and sharp cunning, which he used like a sword to disarm his opponents. He was a natural-born mage, and was as handsome as a noble as well. He was often exasperated by his insane sister, but still loved her.

Ehlhiel[edit]

Ehlhiel is a Wood Elf archer in his mid 30s as of 4E 201.

Ehlhiel was recruited from a young age by the Crimson Dirks. Some intelligence gathered by the East Empire Company suggested he may have been held hostage and his parents killed by the bandits, which they fed to him to turn him into a mole.

As a member of the Crimson Dirks, he was trained by Peladius, alongside Pale-Eyes, who he formed a deep bond with, to the point Pale-Eyes considered him his egg-brother. The first day he met Pale-Eyes, the latter had clad himself in iron pots and pans from the camp as he had no coin for armor. While the others laughed at him, Ehlhiel thought he was clever, and from that day on they were inseparable. One day Ehlhiel had Yakhtu forge a special set of Iron armor for Pale-Eyes in honor of that day.

Later he was present when Edward taught the gang the Khajiit game he learned in Dune, and afterwards was with Aesrael, Casival, and Pale-Eyes when they met with a merchant to launder their stolen goods, only for the merchant to be killed by an Penitus Oculatus Inspector.

After this incident, the East Empire Company uncovered information that Ehlhiel's parents may have been killed by the Crimson Dirks, which they used to turn him into a mole in the organization. He told them where the gang's hideout was, believing the end of the gang was inevitable anyways, and was ordered to burn the hideout to the ground from the inside while the guards watched and killed anyone escaping. Instead, he gave Tyra 3 days notice about the raid, and she ordered dead bodies to be burned in their place. He did not tell her about his role in their discovery however, instead only telling Pale-Eyes of his treachery.

After this he continued to provide information about the remaining bandits for the East Empire Company, including where they had gone in Skyrim. He provided information on Aesrael, Antonius, Bjormund, Pale-Eyes, and Yakhtu, which went into dossiers about them that were spread to guards all over Skyrim. He also gave them information on the location of Pale-Eyes, which directly lead to his death at the hands of the Thalmor. He also provided information on other bandit groups throughout Cyrodiil.

Eventually his scheme was discovered by Zaharia, after she found a dossier about him on a guard she killed. She planned to fake a meeting by his handlers at Lost Echo Cave and kill him, however due to the Last Dragonborn finding her note, either they got involved and stopped her from killing him, or didn't intervene, which resulted in Ehlhiel killing Zaharia.

Ehlhiel was described as cynical beyond his years, and using humor like armor to deflect any inkling of emotion or motive.

Erwan[edit]

Erwan was an insane Breton mage, and twin sister of Edward.

Nothing is known about her life before joining the Dirks.

As a member of the Dirks she went out and robbed the Clan Mother's treasury in Dune alongside her brother and Peladius, however she made the mistake of using the Clan Mother's own silks and scabbard for her disguise. She also killed a Khajiit merchant who was going to fence the goods for them but double-crossed them, taking the Khajiit Artifact, the Ring of Masser, from his body.

Possibly due to how she acquired it however, the Ring was cursed and she started to have bad luck at cards, poorer accuracy, her healing potions healed slower, and she stumbled into runes that even brutes like Skjol missed. She knew it was cursed, but insisted on wearing it around her neck. Eventually she and Skjol were assigned to meet a new bandit group near Imperial City, and arrange a cut of the profits to be sent to the Dirks, along with recruiting any promising members. However, it turned out to be a Daedric cult, and Skjol and Erwan were knocked out and locked in cages. Erwan used the Ring of Masser to boost her Spell of Hysteria, which caused the cultists and their Daedra bodyguards to go mad and kill each other. The two sat in the cages for a few days longer until the others found them and M'Sharra unlocked the cages. From this mission she acquired her Daedric Mail armor, as well as a number of other daedric artifacts the gang sold. Along with her brother, she was a battlemage for the gang.

After the Dirks disbanded, she traveled north to Traitor's Post, a bandit den on the border of Eastmarch and Morrowind, and ran her own bandit outfit. She was upset to learn that her brother died, as he had promised her that she would be the death of him, and so sent him a letter to make sure he was dead. Edward replied that he wasn't really dead, nor did he ever really mean Erwan was actually supposed to kill him, but as a present sent her the dead body of Gunther Frost-Foot, a notable Windhelm merchant, and a copy of the Crimson Dirks book. She treated the dead, naked merchant as a dear friend, and gave him the Ring of Masser, as she didn't need to cast magic to lead the bandit gang. She also sold her Daedric Mail armor to Ma'dran, a nearby Khajiit caravan owner. She was eventually killed by the Last Dragonborn as they investigated what happened to Gunther on behalf of the Jarl of Windhelm.

She was described as being "touched by Sheogorath" and completely mad. Despite this she had a healthy relationship with her twin brother Edward, and also was a close friend of Skjol.

Fathrys[edit]

Fathrys was a young Bosmer archer.

Nothing is known of Fathrys' past life before the Dirks.

After joining the Crimson Dirks, Fathrys was one of the members who sacked a monk's caravan around Saturalia, leading to Tyra getting the idea to forge Amulets of Talos to frame the Thalmor for their jobs. He fell hopelessly in love with Zaharia, and after this event proposed to her, however she cruelly spurned him, saying she'd only marry him if he brought her the scale of a dragon. Taking her message literally, on the advice of Antonius he traveled north to Windhelm and sought the grave of Ulfnir Bone-Skin to take his Dragonscale Armor. He was killed by Ulfnir.

Fathrys was described as young, and a hopeless romantic. Although he was an archer, he wasn't a particularly good one. He also wrote poetry.

M'Sharra[edit]

M'Sharra was a young Khajiit thief.

When M'Sharra was a kitten, she liked to look at the moons, but her elders told her that she should not do this, or else the moons would become shy and she'd never see them again. She vowed from then on to never look at the sky again, keeping her eyes on the ground. She grew up to be a street thief, and one day tried to pick a piece of silver out of Tyra Blood-Fire's pockets. Taking pity on M'Sharra and her story, she told her that she should always look up, for the moons would never go away. M'Sharra swore allegiance to Tyra for the rest of her life and joined the Crimson Dirks.

Joining the Crimson Dirks, she received some training, and because of this became an adept blade, though lacking in strength compared to some of the other members. She was also incredibly talented at scouting and, with the help of others, sacking caravans. She was the gang's resident lockpick as well. After finishing her training, she was given a set of Silver Armor forged by Yakhtu, with the piece M'Sharra tried to take from Tyra's pocket at it's heart.

Around Saturalia, she led some members of the gang to a monk's caravan and looted it after little struggle, finding an Amulet of Talos on it. She presented the Amulet to Tyra as a Saturalia present, who not only personally cherished it, but also realized thanks to reports from Peladius it was operationally valuable as well, and had Yakhtu forge more of the Amulets so they could place it on caravans after they looted and burned them, to frame Thalmor involvement. After this, she was one of the gang members who dug a tunnel underneath an East Empire Company warehouse and smuggled the goods out. Before the looting started, she took Bjormund through the tunnel to look at a dragon skull the size of a carriage that took a dozen Legionaires to move, as well as a Dragonbone chestplate that fit Bjormund perfectly.

After the Dirks were disbanded, M'Sharra traveled north to Whiterun, where she hid her Silver Armor in an abandoned shack outside Rorikstead, and then took to begging in Whiterun city. She uncovered several secrets during this time, including an affair involving one of the Battle-Borns, and that one of the shopkeepers hated his sister. One day she saw Zaharia enter the gates and called out to her, but Zaharia didn't reply back. She grew tired of being a beggar, and decided to go out with one last fight. She didn't retrieve her armor however, as she thought she was being followed. Instead she attacked one of the guards, possibly killing him. She was arrested and thrown into Dragonsreach Dungeon, which she noted was better than begging. The guards discovered she was a former member of the Crimson Dirks, and had her executed.

M'Sharra was very close with the other bandits, considering them all her litter-mates. She was a thoughtful gift-giver, and was particularly close to Tyra. She missed then all dearly when the Dirks disbanded.

Pale-Eyes[edit]

Pale-Eyes was an Argonian member of the Crimson Dirks. Nothing is known of his past before the Dirks.

As a member of the Dirks, he was trained by Peladius. As he did not have any coin for armor, he covered himself in iron pots and pans from around the camp. While the others laughed at him, Ehlhiel thought it was clever, and from then on the two were best friends. Later on his hatch day, Ehlhiel gave Pale-Eyes a set of Iron armor forged by Yakhtu as a present in honor of this day. At some point, while at the Gray Mare in Chorrol, Casival asked Pale-Eyes what a good Argonian name for him would be, and he answered "Gathers-The-Coin". Pale-Eyes was one of the members sent to meet a merchant noble to fence goods, however it was interrupted by a Penitus Oculatus Inspector, who killed the merchant and wounded Casival before Aesrael defeated him.

Ehlhiel told Pale-Eyes of his treachery, and Pale-Eyes told no one else. When the Dirks were disbanded Pale-Eyes went far to the north, camping out just outside Northwatch Keep. Unfortunately he had told Ehlhiel of his plans, and while he held onto the information for a long time, eventually Ehlhiel told his handlers where Pale-Eyes was, who then tipped off the Thalmor as he was next to their stronghold. Pale-Eyes was killed by 3 Justiciars.

Pale-Eyes was a loyal and true soul, who considered Ehlhiel his egg-brother. He also sang reasonably well, much to the surprise of everyone else. He also played and owned a lute.

Peladius[edit]

Peladius was a male Imperial member of the Dirks.

Peladius was a former guardsman, dismissed for beating a pickpocket to death. He was one of the first 3 members hired by Reaver for Tyra, alongside Aesrael and Antonius.

Along with the 3 other original members of the gang, he raided Reaver's manor in Skingrad as the gang's first haul, defeating the guards alongside Aesrael. Later, he led Erwan and Edward to Dune and robbed the Clan Mother's treasury, and watched the Thalmor hunt for Talos worshippers while Erwan killed the Khajiit merchant meant to fence the goods. He mentioned this in his report to Tyra. He also trained Ehlhiel and Pale-Eyes how to fight, and taught Casival how to write. He also served as the muscle on the group, along with others.

After the Dirks disbanded, Peladius found out that they had been betrayed from within, and when he traveled north to Skyrim changed his name to Aldepius and joined the Haafinger Guard to discover who it was. He was posted in Dragon Bridge, where he was confronted by a local guard who was trying to find out who he was. Aldepius killed him, dumped his body downstream, and claimed the man committed suicide by jumping off the bridge. However he was getting sloppy in his old age, and the Last Dragonborn found the body, with it's Journal incriminating Aldepius, he came clean and asked for an honorable death by duel on the bridge.

Peladius was friendly with the other members of the gang, and made an effort to get to know them better. He believed it an honorable group, and only later towards the end of his life did he believe that there was no honor among thieves. He preferred to go into battle clutching Imperial Steel, and indeed owned a unique set of Steel Soldier armor.

Skjol the Tongueless[edit]

Skjol the Tongueless was a Nord Barbarian.

Skjol was found by Tyra locked in a cage with his tongue cut out. She freed him from the cage and in return he pledged her axe to her, and swore to protect her and those who followed her.

Skjol often backed Erwan on missions, silently absorbing whatever secrets, insults, and curses she sent in his general direction. One such secret, which she told no one else, was that the Ring of Masser she wore was cursed. On one mission, while intimidating a smhggler's den for a cut of the gold, or new members for the Dirks, the two were kidnapped and locked up to be used as sacrifices in a Daedric ritual. Skjol told Erwan to use the Ring of Masser to cast a spell to get them out, which she did, casting a spell of Hysteria that caused all the cultists to turn on each other. Along with several others, he served as the gang's muscle.

After the Dirks disbanded, Skjol went with Tyra to a camp just south of Skaal Village. Tyra told him to wait there then left. Skjol did as she asked, until one day a Skaal Villager went to his camp and introduced him to Stahlrim, and told him of an armor set made of it on an island north of Castle Kaarst. Skjol killed the man then went to the island, where he was later killed by the Last Dragonborn.

Skjol was described as having a body as unbreakable as Stalhrim, and wore the title of Barbarian like a badge of honor, or a title given by the High King of Skyrim. He was illiterate, and knew few words. What he could write, he often wrote them in the wrong order. He was also prone to violence, often killing people for insulting him. He liked taking naps. Due to his tongue being cut out, he was entirely mute, a trait that Erwan liked. Other than Erwan and Tyra, the rest of the gang was uneasy around Skjol as they did not know if he pledged his loyalty to the gang or merely to Tyra. He did make an effort to bond with the group, however.

Urgnok[edit]

Urgnok was an Orc Warrior and member of thr Crimson Dirks.

Before joining the Crimson Dirks, Urgnok grew up in a Stronghold. When he came of age, he was forced to kill his father in a duel and take his title as chief. Heartbroken, he wore his father's tooth around his neck as a keepsake. He was heavily burdened by being chieftain, worried that one day he'd have to kill his own sons. One day, Tyra Blood-Fire came to his stronghold and challenged him to a duel. She beat him in single combat, and freed him from his burden. However, she asked not for his tooth or his title, but instead, for his axe, should she need it. Later she formed the Crimson Dirks and asked for him to join.

As a member of the Dirks, Urgnok acted as muscle for the gang. Along with others he sacked a monk's caravan near Saturalia, and later on the day of Saturalia pulled out one of his own teeth and gave it to Tyra. Once he sparred against Zaharia, which led to him being soundly defeated.

After the Dirks disbanded, he went to a face butcher, and got his face changed. He also changed his name, and even had Yakhtu forge him a new Dwarven Mail armor, before joining the Imperial Arena, and rising to the rank of Bloodletter. He was chased down by fans, however he acted violently against them, one time crushing a baker's jaw to the point he had to eat through a straw just for offering Urgnok a pastry. However despite all this he was eventually discovered, but Zaharia, while on a trip of her own to Yakhtu, intervened just in time and killed the person before they could send a letter to the authorities. She claimed his fighting style gave him away, and recommended he head north to Skyrim and either join a stronghold or fight in the underground pits up there. He chose the latter, fighting at the Bthalft Ruins.

He was tracked down again, this time by an Adoring Fan, who had acquired a copy of the Crimson Dirks v8, which recorded this meeting as a fictional tale, and had discovered that in fact Urgnok was a real person. The fan asked Urgnok to meet privately with him, which he did, killing the Woof Elf during the meeting outside Ivarstead.

Urgnok was described as an aggressive, violent type, with his rage stemming not just from being an Orc, but from something deeper and more personal. He absolutely despised Nords, except Tyra, who he respected as she did not feel, sound, fight, or even smell like a Nord. He didn't get along well with the other members of the gang, believing they'd all die soon anyways. While he wasn't a mage, he dabbled into dark magic, and covered his body in ritualistic tattoos and wore bone totems.

Yakhtu gra-Orkulg[edit]

Yakhtu gra-Orkulg was an Orc blacksmith in her mid-40s as of 4E 201.

Before she joined the Dirks, she ran the Slash N'Smash blacksmith shop in the Imperial City, which she inherited from her father. She was approached by Tyra and joined the gang.

As a member of the gang, she primarily forged gear for the Dirks, as well as laundering stolen loot through her shop. She forged a set of Iron armor for Pale-Eyes at the behest of Ehlhiel, and a set of Silver Armor for M'Sharra with a piece of silver from Tyra's pocket at it's heart. On Tyra's orders she forged many copies of an Amulet of Talos, so the gang could cover up their caravan raiding as Thalmor attacks. Later she used parts of a carriage-sized dragon skull stolen from the East Empire Company to craft Dragonbone gauntlets, boots, and a helmet for Bjormund. She also made Orcish Scaled armor for Antonius.

After the gang disbanded she continued to run her shop for a little while, forging a new Dwarven Mail armor for Urgnok and some gear for Zaharia. However, the Imperial City guard eventually got a warrant with her arrest, and she fled the city with Bjormund. While the authorities believed she fled north to High Rock and joined an Orc Stronghold, she actually spent several days crossing the border into Skyrim, listening to Bjormund talk and sometimes even sing without end. She moved to Embershard Mine and reluctantly started forging high-quality Orcish Plate armor and weapons for the local bandit population, but she believed they were idiots and didn't deserve it. Ehlhiel informed his handlers where she was, and they in turn informed Commander Caius of Whiterun, as the mine fell under his jurisdiction. Ultimately she was killed by the Last Dragonborn.

Yakhtu was bitter and angry, however it was merely due to being an Orc rather than any personal deep-seated anger like Urgnok. She was quiet, but a wizard with a forge and an Anvil, making incredibly high quality armor and weapons, and able to copy things perfectly just by looking at them for a few seconds. Her genius was only matched by her insatiable work ethic.
