The Core Set is the first card set in Legends. As the first set released, it is the one that corresponds to the free story, the Forgotten Hero campaign. As it was released prior to many other sets, it is somewhat limited in the scope of game mechanics it contains. It is also the only set to feature Training.
Some cards are considered part of the Core Set, but can not be obtained from Card Packs. These are listed on the Basic Cards page.
