Investigator Irnand is a wounded Breton officer of the Lion Guard found in the Wayrest Sewers I. He was betrayed by his former partner Garron while they were looking into the bandit activity reported in the sewers.

Are you all right?

"Wayrest investigators bleed for a living. I'm fine.
My people and I were here, looking into reports of armed wastrels seen passing through the sewers, when one of our own betrayed us."

Who betrayed you?

"A necromancer—goes by the name Garron. Don't know how long they had him in their pocket. For all I know, he's the ringleader.
When we came through the entrance, he and a group of deviants ambushed us. He took the others inside—left me for dead."

I'll deal with Garron.

"I don't know if you're crazy or brave, but the city will reward you for handling this. If you can. He's got a small army down here.
I'd bring him to trial, but after that ambush, I'd settle for a dead Garron—and his plot stopped. Whatever it is."

If you talk to him again Irnand will give you some warnings and request.

"Be careful out there. Garron has a small army of soldiers on top of whatever powers he wields.
And if you meet any survivors from my investigation team—help them, will you? They'll probably need it."
