Iron Ore is a reddish-brown ore usually located near mountains or large boulders. It can be found in any zone by characters with Rank 1 in the Metalworking passive or character level 1 to 14. When mined, a node yields three to four samples of the raw material, Iron Ore, which can then be refined into Iron Ingots. Ten raw samples are usually processed into seven to ten ingots. Iron ingots are used for crafting pieces of heavy iron armor and weapons at any blacksmithing station.
