Yew logs are bright yellow in color, with a small patch of blooming grass growing on them. They can be found in any zone by players with Woodworking Rank 5 or levels 46 to 50. One log can be harvested for three to four samples of the raw material, Rough Yew. Once ten samples of rough wood are collected, they can be refined into seven to ten pieces of the processed material, Sanded Yew. From the refined yew pieces a woodworker can craft yew staves and bows, as well as yew shields, at any woodworking station. In order for you to create yew gear your Woodworking ability has to be rank 5.
