	As followers of Malacath, the Oathsworn are some of the most fearsome warriors in Tamriel. They're masters at multiple forms of combat and use the fiery heart of their sacred home to light their forges.

Oathsworn Pit

Oathsworn Pit is a group dungeon in the northern mountains of The Reach.

It is included in the Scions of Ithelia DLC alongside Bedlam Veil. The entrance is located east of the Deep Folk Crossing.

Packmaster Rethelros[edit]

Packmaster Rethelros (an archer) fights alongside his wolf companion, Malthil. You need to keep them separated from each other, or else they'll empower each other's strikes. The tank should pull the wolf away while the group deals with the archer.^{[verification needed — Do they need to be killed around the same time, like Zakuryn the Sculptor?]}

The Packmaster occasionally summons a Protective Totem, which tethers itself to both bosses with a blue beam. They'll take less damage while this totem is up: destroy it to maximize your group's damage output. Having the tank drag the wolf to the totem may be a worthy endeavor if the archer isn't too close to it.

Elks, foxes, squirrels, and rabbits wander the tundra at the entrance. Torchbugs and butterflies flit around the snowy fields, while owls observe the carnage from stone posts.

You can accept the quest from Bazrag at the entrance. A large statue to Malacath sits on a plot of rock suspended between the mountains by chains north of where you enter. A note entitled Lessons of the Pit can be found by the stone fence overlooking the gorge. There's an empty cave on the northeast side of the entrance.

Two wolves, a bear, a Recollection Venombow, and a Recollection Battlesworn make up the first pull. Follow the cobblestone trail to progress through this portion of the dungeon. The second pull is identical to the first: fell the enemies to open the gate at the end of the path, unleashing a bear and two more venombows. Behind the gate lies a great bear accompanied by a Recollection Blademaster, two battlesworn, and and two arbalests. There's a longhouse on the west side of this arena: head around the north side of the building to find a note.

You'll fight Packmaster Rethelros and his wolf companion Malthil here. During the quest, they're accosting Black-Glove Garm. There's a statue of Malacath with a rubedite sword and spikes protruding from his chest to your right as you enter, and an Undaunted Challenge Banner on your left.

This effect can occur once every 10 seconds and the damage and armor reduction scale off the higher of your Weapon and Spell Damage.
